Rubber Roofs

Rubber roofs are the ultimate solution for your flat roof.

Rubber roofs are made from a fully breathable membrane which means they ventilate themselves. They do this through small holes in the rubber, large enough for air particles to get out but water not to pass through. This preserves the life of the roof deck allowing any trapped moisture to slowly evaporate through the membrane.

Rubber roofs are guaranteed to last 25 years but there’s evidence they can last up to 50 years. At D.Sewell we are Firestone approved rubber roof installers.

Bitchemin roofs only last up to 15 years and they are prone to crack. With felt you’re overlapping and therefore creating weaknesses, whereas with rubber it comes as one big sheet for a seamless, quality finish. Because of our expertise and commitment to quality, we aim to always install rubber roofs in just one piece. Meaning the roof is more water tight and installed to a much higher standard.

Rubber roofs are weatherproof, eco-friendly, durable, and UV resistant.

At D.Sewell we install rubber roofs throughout Cumbria and the North of England. To find out more please contact us.
